Nakupenda Beach BBQ Lunch Tour: A Paradise Escape in Zanzibar

We took the 1 Day Isimila Stone Age Site Tour from Iringa last month and were absolutely blown away. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, bringing the ancient history to life with vivid descriptions. The landscape itself is unique and awe-inspiring. It was a perfect half-day trip that offered a different perspective on Tanzania beyond the usual safari routes. Highly recommend for anyone interested in archaeology and unique geological formations. We were back in Iringa with plenty of time to spare.

This was a perfect day out! The Mbozi Meteorite is an impressive sight, and our guide shared fascinating facts about its history. Visiting the local coffee farm afterwards was a delightful contrast. We learned so much about the coffee-making process, from bean to cup, and enjoyed some delicious samples. It’s a great way to support local agriculture and get a taste of authentic Tanzanian life. Short, sweet, and incredibly informative. I'll be recommending this tour for anyone visiting the area.

The Mikindani and Msimbati Beach Tour was a perfect escape. We loved the combination of exploring historic Mikindani in the morning and then relaxing on the beautiful Msimbati beaches in the afternoon. The transfer between locations was smooth. It’s a great way to experience the south coast's highlights in a short amount of time. The waters at Msimbati were incredibly clear for a quick swim. A truly memorable day trip we did just a few days ago.

The 2 Days Ngozi Crater Lake Hiking Experience was definitely a challenge, but the reward was immense. The climb to Ngozi Crater Lake was steep in parts, requiring good fitness, but the turquoise waters and the dramatic caldera rim were worth every step. We camped overnight near the lake, and the stargazing was phenomenal. Our guide was very supportive and ensured we were safe throughout the trek. It's a fantastic option for adventurous travelers seeking a unique natural wonder. Planning for a similar trek in 2026 would be amazing.

Our 2 Days Maziwe Island and Pangani Beach Holiday was a lovely, relaxing break. Maziwe Island is beautiful, perfect for snorkeling and enjoying the sun. The combination with Pangani Beach provided a good mix of activity and pure relaxation. It felt like a genuine escape from the everyday. The turquoise waters were stunning. A great way to unwind.

Our 4 Days Pemba Island Beach and Spice Experience with Top Guide Adventures was everything we dreamed of and more. The turquoise waters and pristine beaches were breathtaking. We loved exploring the local spice farms and learning about their cultivation – it was so informative! The accommodation was comfortable and right on the beach. It felt like our own private paradise. If you're looking for a tranquil escape with a touch of local culture, this is it. We're already planning a return trip for 2026!

Opted for the 1 Day Uzi Island Hidden Zanzibar Experience as a day trip from Stone Town. It was a wonderfully serene day. We explored the mangroves, visited a local spice farm, and had a simple but delicious lunch. It’s definitely a less crowded experience than other parts of the island. The guide was knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the island's ecosystem. While the pace was very relaxed, which was what we wanted, perhaps a little more scheduled activity would have been nice for a full day. Still a great way to see a different side of Zanzibar.

The 2 Days Kitulo Plateau and Matema Beach Escape was a wonderful way to experience different facets of Southern Tanzania. Kitulo Plateau's 'Garden of God' lived up to its name with its unique flowers and stunning views. Matema Beach provided a lovely contrast with its lakeside tranquility. The combination offered a great blend of highland beauty and lakeside relaxation. Our guide was very informative about the local flora and the history of the area. It was a good, well-paced trip, though perhaps a bit more wildlife viewing on the plateau would have been ideal.

The Nakupenda and Stone Town Tour was an absolute blast! We started with a fantastic boat trip to Nakupenda sandbank, where we had an amazing seafood lunch and swam in unbelievably blue waters. The snorkeling was great too. In the afternoon, we explored the historic Stone Town, learning about its rich history and vibrant culture. Our guide was excellent, making the day both fun and educational. This tour packs so much into one day and is highly recommended for a taste of Zanzibar's magic.
