Mikumi National Park Tanzania: The Complete Safari Guide for 2026-2027

The 3-day Selous Game Reserve safari was truly special. The boat safari on the Rufiji River was unlike anything I've experienced – so many hippos and crocodiles! The game drives were also excellent, with our guide expertly finding lions and wild dogs. It's a vast and wild place, offering a more remote feel than some other parks. The lodge was comfortable and set in a beautiful location. Highly recommend this itinerary for a taste of southern Tanzania's unique wildlife.

The migration was active, and we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, and so much more. Our guide was fantastic, spotting animals we would have missed and explaining their behaviors. Our 6 Days Tarangire Serengeti Ngorongoro Safari was a truly epic adventure. We were amazed by the sheer volume of wildlife in Tarangire, the vastness of the Serengeti, and the unique ecosystem of the Ngorongoro Crater. The logistics were seamless, and our guide was fantastic, spotting animals we would have missed. The mix of landscapes and animal sightings was superb. It felt like the perfect duration to get a real taste of Tanzania's highlights. We felt very well taken care of throughout.

This 4-day Ruaha National Park wildlife safari exceeded all expectations. Ruaha is a truly wild and rugged park, with incredible predator sightings. We saw lions, cheetahs, and even a leopard! The sheer scale of the park is impressive, and the relative lack of crowds made it feel very exclusive. Our guide was exceptional, with an uncanny ability to spot animals. The accommodation was rustic but charming, fitting perfectly with the wild surroundings. A must-visit for serious wildlife enthusiasts.

It’s a good choice for a short trip if you want a mix of bush and beach vibes without a long transfer.

The drive from Dar was manageable, and we were thrilled with the amount of wildlife we saw in just three days. Plenty of elephants, giraffes, and even a pride of lions! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we had excellent viewing opportunities. For a quick safari escape, this package is brilliant.
