How to Choose Safari Accommodation in Tanzania – Complete Guide 2026-2027

Our safari to Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara was absolutely breathtaking. The crater in Ngorongoro is like nowhere else on Earth – so much wildlife in one place! We even spotted a rhino, which was a dream come true. Lake Manyara offered beautiful birdlife and tree-climbing lions. The logistics were handled so smoothly, making it a truly stress-free trip. We felt so well looked after throughout.

Our 3 Days in Tarangire National Park were filled with incredible sights. We saw so many elephants, including large family groups, and the baobab trees are truly majestic. The park is beautiful and the wildlife viewing was top-notch. Our guide was very good at spotting animals and navigating the park. However, the lodge we stayed at for the two nights was a bit basic and not quite what we expected for the price. While the wildlife experience was 5-star, the lodging brought the overall rating down slightly. We enjoyed the park itself immensely and would recommend it, but perhaps look into different accommodation options if booking a similar package.

We did the 5 Days Northern Circuit Safari from Moshi. It was a well-paced tour covering Tarangire and Ngorongoro, with plenty of game drives. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the quality of the vehicle and the guide's expertise. We saw lions, elephants, zebras, and much more. While 5 days is short, it gave us a fantastic introduction to Tanzania's wildlife. A good option if you're looking for an efficient and affordable safari experience starting from Moshi.

We spent 6 Days in Tarangire National Park and were blown away. The elephant herds were massive, and the landscape with its iconic baobab trees is truly unique. Our guide knew the best spots to find wildlife and was excellent at explaining the ecosystem. The birdlife was also incredible. It was a fantastic experience, offering a different feel from other parks. Highly recommend dedicating a good amount of time to Tarangire, especially with a knowledgeable guide. We're hoping to return for a longer trip in 2026!

Absolutely unforgettable! Our 5 Days Serengeti Migration Safari was timed perfectly. Seeing the sheer scale of the wildebeest and zebra migration was a humbling and awe-inspiring experience. We opted for the 3 Days Tanzania Group Joining Safari and had a fantastic time. It was a wonderful way to meet other travelers and share the incredible experience. Our guide was excellent, making sure everyone in the group got great views of the wildlife. We saw so much, from giraffes gracefully browsing to hippos cooling off. The itinerary packed a lot in without feeling rushed. While it's a group tour, there was still ample personal space during game drives. Excellent value for money and a fun social dynamic. We’d do it again for a 2026 adventure.

We did a 4 Days Big Five Safari from Moshi and were blown away by the abundance of wildlife. Within the first two days, we had seen all of the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo – in the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. The vehicle was comfortable and well-equipped for game viewing. Our guide was a true expert, with an incredible eye for spotting even the most elusive animals. He was also very passionate about conservation, which added another layer to our experience. This safari was a definite highlight of our trip to Tanzania.
